These terms apply to your use of this website and to requests made through it. By using the site or submitting a request, you agree to them. "The Watch Don", "we" and "us" refer to The Watch Don, a watch sourcing service based in Manitoba, Canada.
Our service
The Watch Don is a watch sourcing service. We don't hold inventory. When you submit a request, we look for the watch you've described and for who is selling it, through our network of collectors, dealers and auction houses, and we negotiate the price and terms with the seller on your behalf. Once you're happy, we authenticate the watch and put you in touch with the seller.
Submitting a request is free and doesn't commit you to buying anything. It also doesn't oblige us to accept the request or guarantee that we will find the watch.
Our fee
We only charge if you buy a watch we found for you. Our fee is between 2% and 5% of the watch's purchase price, and the exact percentage is agreed with you in writing before you commit to the purchase. If you decide not to buy, you owe us nothing. Applicable taxes may be added to our fee.
We are an intermediary, not the seller. The purchase itself is made directly between you and the seller, and the watch, price, payment, shipping and any return terms are agreed between you and them. We don't take possession of the watch or handle its delivery.

Watch names, references, descriptions and images on this website, including results from our watch search, are provided for reference to help you describe what you're looking for. They come in part from third-party sources such as WatchBase and may not be complete, current or accurate. They are not an offer to sell any particular watch.
Trademarks
Watch brand names, model names and logos referred to on this website — including Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, A. Lange & Söhne, Vacheron Constantin and others — are trademarks of their respective owners. The Watch Don is an independent business and is not affiliated with, authorised by or endorsed by any watch manufacturer or brand. Brand names are used only to identify the watches our clients ask us to find.
Authentication
Before you commit to a purchase, we authenticate and inspect the watch and tell you what we found. We'll explain the checks we carried out in writing. Any guarantee or remedy relating to the watch itself is between you and the seller unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Using this website
Please don't misuse the site — for example, by submitting false or misleading requests, attempting to access areas you're not authorised to use, or interfering with how the site works. Information you send must be accurate and yours to share.
Liability
This website is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, or for any loss caused by information on the site being incomplete or out of date. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Privacy
How we handle the information you send us is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of Manitoba, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring proceedings there.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
